A fun loving and passionate professional graphic designer who has a genuine interest in educating, increasing understanding, and deepening appreciation for the diversity of our society and the environment around us.
For the past five years, I’ve been helping a variety of clients create simple and effective solutions. Being most comfortable in branding and print design, I am developing skills for web design through professional projects and self-initiated work.
I love having the opportunity to interact with clients, to learn their passions, and to help them visualize their message to their audiences. As an independent designer I can take on a variety of projects. The diversity of my work challenges and allows me to develop and maintain design skills of all kinds.
MOUNT MERU HOSPITAL
Born at the Mount Meru Hospital (Arusha, Tanzania), the dire circumstances in the hospital encouraged the building, development and maintenance of a neonatal unit and the children's ward by the Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania. The Mount Meru Hospital brings all its newborns to spend their first days in the neonatal unit, catering to premature, orphans and abandoned babies. I visit and help out at the hospital on all my trips to Africa, having seen the dedication and compassion of its staff and volunteers to their patients, not to mention the cuteness factor of the little ones.
From sitting on my aunt's dining table in Tanzania, doodling on test papers in India and now creating intricate pieces of art in Canada, I understand the importance of individuality and style. Every henna design that I create is different, based traditional influences to modern Western, Indian and Arabic designs. In my spare time, I offer henna services in Richmond and the Lower Mainland, catering to multiple occasions including bridal, engagements, showers, parties, holidays, events, photo-shoots, graduations, and much more!
